Music, wherever
life leads.

Born in Yerevan in 1950, Harout Pamboukjian grew up surrounded by music. Guitar, bouzouki, saz, dhol and piano became part of his musical vocabulary. With his band Erebouni, he began a journey that would carry Armenian song far beyond its borders.

After leaving Armenia in 1975 and spending a year in Lebanon, he settled in Los Angeles. Known affectionately as Dzakh Harout, he connects generations through folk melodies, love songs and the unmistakable energy of the stage.
